Our principal
Pasha Legal is led by its principal and founder, Hina Pasha, a Melbourne solicitor with more than 30 years' experience across family, criminal, property and commercial law.
Hina played a central role in the Farah Jama matter, one of the most significant wrongful-conviction cases in recent Victorian legal history, in which a conviction based on contaminated DNA evidence was quashed in 2009. The case prompted a major review of how forensic evidence is handled in Victoria.
Her work has been recognised well beyond the courtroom. She featured in the ABC's Australian Story episode "Courting Hina" in 2002 and has been profiled in The Age and other Melbourne media.
